More than a little odd considering that a manga with a main character aged 10, its rated 16+, but umm.. yeah. Theres actually no "but", i just felt like saying that. ^_^;;;;

These books are about a wizard in training, called Negi Springfield. In hopes of earning the prestigious title of Magister Magi, Negi has undertaken several quests including the slaying of an evil dragon, and such things of the like. The mangas are about his latest challenge set to him, and his hardest yet by far. He has to teach a class of schoolgirls *shockhorror*

The book is a comedy, but it does get a bit odd at points. It also includes references to Harry Potter, insofar as that blatantly isnt real, but to the characters in this series all the wizarding stuff makes perfect sense. But then, they are characters in the book, so to them it would. *shrug*

Not really intended as a serious read, the mangas are light comedy, to the point that taking any of the morales etc in the book to heart would probably result in you being run out of town/state/country/universe because of how fucked up you'd become.

There are also rumours around about how two of the characters are based on Asuka Langley Sohryu and Rei Ayanami. Im not really convinced by the arguments given, but just see if you can spot anyone who fits the criteria... I bet if anyone emails about this, it'll be 50/50 between who thinks some are, and who thinks no one is based on Evangelion characters :D
